Sid Haig est un acteur américain qui a joué dans une multitude de films et d’émissions de télévision. Acteur chouchou de Roger Corman, il a aussi joué dans bon nombre de films de « blaxploitation » dans les années 1970. Il a pris sa retraite d’acteur en 1992, car il en avait assez d’être catalogué comme un gros gabarit dans les productions à petit budget. Il a finalement effectué un retour dans Jackie Brown de Quentin Tarantino. Depuis, il a joué dans de nombreux films, dont dans House of 1000 Corpses et The Devil's Rejects de Rob Zombie dans la peau du Capitaine Spaulding, et dans le remake d’Halloween.

Sid Haig is an American actor who has starred in dozens of films and television shows. He was a fixture in the films of Roger Corman and well as many “blaxploitation” films of the 1970s. He retired from acting in 1992 because he hated being typecast as the “heavy” in low budget productions, but returned to work for Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown. Since then, he has starred in several films, most notably as Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, as well as the remake of Halloween.
